My wife and I love this practice. It is as close to small town practice as you can get and still be in a busy growing area. The staff is great and consistent. Wait times are scheduled so you get seen almost immediately. Plus, they know you even when visiting once per year. Very happy.

I have been looking for a medical provider in the Lewes area for some time. My experience with some doctors in the past could be categorized as them telling me how I feel and having little interest in my telling them how I feel. Thus leaving me as a medical skeptic. My wife was referred to Ms. Robertson and based on her experience she suggested I meet with her. I have had an initial medical interview with Ms. Johnson and was impressed. She asked lots of questions, was genuinely interested in my daily life and activities, wanted to know the what and why of my coming to her. She took time answering questions and provided quality background and risk profiles. She did not come to any preclusions nor did she dismiss any issue. I left the office with two initial tests that need to be performed and a follow up appointment. All in all, my first experience was excellent.

Joanna is always kind & listens to my medical problems. She will work with me to any extent in order to get a solution to my difficulties. I have a great respect for her & the knowledge that she holds.

As I get older and after several years undergoing cancer care & treatment I feel like I’m experiencing more small issues and worries. After visiting with Johanna I walked away not only feeling worry free but more importantly safe. She takes the time to address ALL your concerns, tests & scans. You feel listened to & understood. I have a medical background and understand a lot but she points out things, explains why she’s ok with this is that result and you get a better understanding of everything. It’s hard to explain but when I walked in I was worried when I walked out I felt safe putting my healthcare in her hands. Something I hadn’t felt in many years. She’s friendly & positive and the practice has many other benefits as they are using very modern computer software and when you are prescribed medication your scripts go straight to the pharmacy and you even get texts with discounts available for your meds to use when you pick up the scripts ( this may not be for every med but if available) my tests were sent directly to lab & hospital & the hospital called me to set up my echo. I was nervous leaving my life long doctor when I moved here permanently and the only thing I regret is not finding Johanna sooner. She’s absolutely outstanding- as is her staff.

Johanna is perhaps the best PCP I've had in my life. She takes the time to go through anything and everything about your health and what you're experiencing. After the visit, you go home and there's an email from her explaining in detail what she went over with you. I have been searching for a PCP for 4 yrs after moving here. I have chronic Lyme disease and couldn't find a single n provider who understood my disease or believed such a disease even existed. ( unbelievable). I needed knee surgery but the surgeon wouldn't operate until I was medically cleared by a pcp. Thankfully, a receptionist at that office told me about Joanna. I was able to get an appointment easily. She and her staff are among the most caring people i have met in the medical profession. Joanna even gave me an appt. on her day off when I was in a personal crisis situation that was affecting my health. Who else would do that?? Joanna, and her staff, Michelle and Pat are attentive and good listeners. I'm particularly impressed at two things. First, the proactive follow up. Second, Joanna's genuine caring disposition while going through my annual tests result. Very comforting.

My 1st visit with Joanna went very smoothly. I was a little anxious coming in and Joanna put me right at ease. She listened to my concerns and was very helpful. I was not rushed and felt that we were working together on my health plan.

I had my first appointment with Joanna and had a very positive experience. Michele (front desk), Pat (nurse) and Joanna made me feel comfortable. The visit was thorough and not rushed, and I left feeling confident in the care I’ll receive moving forward.

From walking through the door to checking out, I always feel very well cared for at this practice. Joanna spends so much time with her patients and I never feel rushed. We are so grateful that we became patients at Beachfront Internal Medicine.

I have never felt so comfortable with a doctor than Joanna. She listened to everything and I mean listen to a lot. She asked questions I asked questions this was the most productive appointment I have had in a long time. I switched everyone over to this office. She never makes light of whatever situation you may be experiencing. She keeps copious notes and always reviews the status of the last session.
