This the practice I have been looking for, a primary care provider that will handle annual well checks, well woman check ups, and medication management. Kudos to this business model that treats the whole patient without having to juggle multiple providers.

Joanna and her staff are marvelous. I call only when i'm having difficulty of some kind. If i do not feel well enough, they suggest a telehealth appointment. I feel Joanna understands me and always leads me in the right direction.. whether it be in home physical therapy or test. She listens to what I say... I think that's important.

Short wait! This was my first visit to Dr. Joanne. She was friendly and professional asking about my health in the past and different surgeries I have had. She additionally asked how I was feeling presently and if I had any questions for her.

The room we met in was warm, inviting, calming, comfortable, and didn’t make you feel like you were at a health care office. We were able to agree on a treatment plan and following my visit, I received a comprehensive email outlining the plan in detail. I was recovering from Pneumonia and had severe upper back pain. Joannna determined it was musculoskeletal from s recent move and prescribed a muscle relaxer. I am gradually feeling better.

Johanna is perhaps the best PCP I've had in my life. She takes the time to go through anything and everything about your health and what you're experiencing. After the visit, you go home and there's an email from her explaining in detail what she went over with you. I also love the way she challenges me to get better at what I'm trying to accomplish, whether it be blood sugar, blood pressure, weight, diet or whatever, she's giving you something to get better at all the time, and being a man, we love challenges, and I understand the psychology of it. I feel incredibly lucky to have found Joanna Robertson to be my PCP. She is intelligent and professional, yet always caring and sincere. This is a combination of traits I have not often found in medical professionals and I value it greatly.

I have been searching for a PCP for 4 yrs after moving here. I have chronic Lyme disease and couldn't find a single n provider who understood my disease or believed such a disease even existed. ( unbelievable). I needed knee surgery but the surgeon wouldn't operate until I was medically cleared by a pcp. Thankfully, a receptionist at that office told me about Joanna. I was able to get an appointment easily. She and her staff are among the most caring people i have met in the medical profession. Joanna even gave me an appt. on her day off when I was in a personal crisis situation that was affecting my health. Who else would do that?? I HIGHLY recommend Beachfront Internal Medicine and Joanna to anyone struggling to find a PCP who cares about your physical and mental wellbeing.

Joanna, and her staff, Michelle and Pat are attentive and good listeners. I'm particularly impressed at two things. First, the proactive follow up. Second, Joanna's genuine caring disposition while going through my annual tests result. Very comforting.

My 1st visit with Joanna went very smoothly. I was a little anxious coming in and Joanna put me right at ease. She listened to my concerns and was very helpful. I was not rushed and felt that we were working together on my health plan.

Had my first appointment for my annual physical with Joanna Robertson today and I am very happy to have found her! I decided to leave my current provider due to it feeling too much like a big business and difficulty getting appointments in a timely manner. With Joanna’s office, everything was stellar! Office staff are friendly and the office is clean and modern. This visit felt very old school in the sense that I felt seen and heard and not rushed. Haven’t experienced or felt this way about a provider in many years and I would highly recommend this practice.

Joanna is simply the best . She has literally changed my life. I was recommended to her by my cardiologist who I trust with my life. It is indeed very rare to encounter a person and primary care dr of this quality. She is ALWAYS there for her patients. Cannot say enough great things about her.

As a new patient I was extremely pleased. I had pulled something in lots of pain, the office was able to get me in. The entire staff are awesome and I highly recommend them! I didn't feel like a number, but the care and concern were top notch.

I love the fact that she goes over all of your history and what specialists have said including test results. She takes the time to explain everything and listens to you. Several times I have needed to get a quick test done and she always accommodates me.

I had such a great experience at Beachfront Internal Medicine today!! The office was super clean and inviting, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier—everyone was full of smiles and made me feel so comfortable. The check-in process was quick and easy, and I was taken back almost immediately. I barely had any wait time once I was in the room, which was such a nice surprise. The nurse practitioner Joanna I saw was amazing!! She was so joyful and comforting, which made it easy to talk about my medical history. She really listened and was extremely knowledgeable. She even suggested running some routine blood work as a preventative since she noticed I hadn’t had any done in years—something my previous doctors never mentioned. Scheduling was also a breeze, and I really appreciated the reminder texts leading up to my visit. I’m so glad I found this place—definitely the best healthcare experience I’ve had in a very long time!!

Joanna is amazing. She spent an hour with me my first visit as psych doctor and got all my background information. Above all that, the warmth and comfort you feel. You’re safe to open up to her. Now to work on the mental health aspects of life. So now I have a primary care doctor and that’s taken care of. Along with a psych med that I take. So I couldn’t be happier. She can prescribe medicine if she sees fit , just in case you’re wondering. She listens to your concerns and goes from there. All in all. Just super convenient. Super friendly. Super caring. What else could you ask for? If you don’t have a psych doctor or a primary doctor Joanna is the one to go to. Perfect location for anyone in lewes or Rehoboth or any surrounding areas. You’ll be happy you switched doctors or maybe just moved here and need to find a new doctor. You’ll be happy either way. You’re treated as a human being with feelings that are valid.
