I have been looking for a medical provider in the Lewes area for some time. My experience with some doctors in the past could be categorized as them telling me how I feel and having little interest in my telling them how I feel. Thus leaving me as a medical skeptic. My wife was referred to Ms. Robertson and based on her experience she suggested I meet with her. I have had an initial medical interview with Ms. Johnson and was impressed. She asked lots of questions, was genuinely interested in my daily life and activities, wanted to know the what and why of my coming to her. She took time answering questions and provided quality background and risk profiles. She did not come to any preclusions nor did she dismiss any issue. I left the office with two initial tests that need to be performed and a follow up appointment. All in all, my first experience was excellent.

As I get older and after several years undergoing cancer care & treatment I feel like I’m experiencing more small issues and worries. After visiting with Johanna I walked away not only feeling worry free but more importantly safe. She takes the time to address ALL your concerns, tests & scans. You feel listened to & understood. I have a medical background and understand a lot but she points out things, explains why she’s ok with this is that result and you get a better understanding of everything. It’s hard to explain but when I walked in I was worried when I walked out I felt safe putting my healthcare in her hands. Something I hadn’t felt in many years. She’s friendly & positive and the practice has many other benefits as they are using very modern computer software and when you are prescribed medication your scripts go straight to the pharmacy and you even get texts with discounts available for your meds to use when you pick up the scripts ( this may not be for every med but if available) my tests were sent directly to lab & hospital & the hospital called me to set up my echo. I was nervous leaving my life long doctor when I moved here permanently and the only thing I regret is not finding Johanna sooner. She’s absolutely outstanding- as is her staff.

When my doctor of 18 years decided to leave Beebe, I had to scramble to find a new doctor. This was not an easy task. Many doctors are not accepting new patients. I ended up with a really bad doctor who cut me off a medicine that had been helping me for over 20years. I was desperate to find a better doctor who cared about my well being. I found this doctor with Joanna. She is kind, a good listener and cares about you, the patient. I was so glad I found her. Now I am back on my medication that will help me feel myself again. Johanna is perhaps the best PCP I've had in my life. She takes the time to go through anything and everything about your health and what you're experiencing. After the visit, you go home and there's an email from her explaining in detail what she went over with you. Joanna is amazing she listens to what you say and she is very compassionate and cares about her patients. I was an EMT for a lot of years and she truly understands what I have seen and the things I have been through. I would recommend her to anyone who needs mental health support.

Great Joanna great person

Had my first appointment for my annual physical with Joanna Robertson today and I am very happy to have found her! I decided to leave my current provider due to it feeling too much like a big business and difficulty getting appointments in a timely manner. With Joanna’s office, everything was stellar! Office staff are friendly and the office is clean and modern. This visit felt very old school in the sense that I felt seen and heard and not rushed. Haven’t experienced or felt this way about a provider in many years and I would highly recommend this practice.
