Short wait! This was my first visit to Dr. Joanne. She was friendly and professional asking about my health in the past and different surgeries I have had. She additionally asked how I was feeling presently and if I had any questions for her.

I was recovering from Pneumonia and had severe upper back pain. Joannna determined it was musculoskeletal from s recent move and prescribed a muscle relaxer. I am gradually feeling better.

Johanna is perhaps the best PCP I've had in my life. She takes the time to go through anything and everything about your health and what you're experiencing. After the visit, you go home and there's an email from her explaining in detail what she went over with you. I also love the way she challenges me to get better at what I'm trying to accomplish, whether it be blood sugar, blood pressure, weight, diet or whatever, she's giving you something to get better at all the time, and being a man, we love challenges, and I understand the psychology of it. I just moved from Northern Virginia to Lewes Delaware last month and had heard stories from lots of people how hard it is to find a doctor accepting new patients here. I feel incredibly lucky to have found Joanna Robertson to be my PCP. She is intelligent and professional, yet always caring and sincere. This is a combination of traits I have not often found in medical professionals and I value it greatly.

I have been searching for a PCP for 4 yrs after moving here. I have chronic Lyme disease and couldn't find a single n provider who understood my disease or believed such a disease even existed. ( unbelievable). I needed knee surgery but the surgeon wouldn't operate until I was medically cleared by a pcp. Thankfully, a receptionist at that office told me about Joanna. I was able to get an appointment easily. She and her staff are among the most caring people i have met in the medical profession. Joanna even gave me an appt. on her day off when I was in a personal crisis situation that was affecting my health. Who else would do that?? I HIGHLY recommend Beachfront Internal Medicine and Joanna to anyone struggling to find a PCP who cares about your physical and mental wellbeing.

Joanna, and her staff, Michelle and Pat are attentive and good listeners. I'm particularly impressed at two things. First, the proactive follow up. Second, Joanna's genuine caring disposition while going through my annual tests result. Very comforting.

My 1st visit with Joanna went very smoothly. I was a little anxious coming in and Joanna put me right at ease. She listened to my concerns and was very helpful. I was not rushed and felt that we were working together on my health plan.

She asked questions I asked questions this was the most productive appointment I have had in a long time. I switched everyone over to this office. We have been looking for a primary doctor since moving here a year ago. We definitely found one in Joanna Roberson. She is so caring and takes her time listening to your concerns. Her staff is so friendly also. We felt like we knew everyone for a long time and were more like family.

Great Joanna great person

Had my first appointment for my annual physical with Joanna Robertson today and I am very happy to have found her! I decided to leave my current provider due to it feeling too much like a big business and difficulty getting appointments in a timely manner. With Joanna’s office, everything was stellar! Office staff are friendly and the office is clean and modern. This visit felt very old school in the sense that I felt seen and heard and not rushed. Haven’t experienced or felt this way about a provider in many years and I would highly recommend this practice.

Joanna is the most caring and supportive PCP I have ever had. I have Neurological Lyme Disease and she is the only practitioner in 12 yrs that has truly LISTENED to my crazy medical case history and actually expressed the positive attributes she noticed in me. Most have belittled me due to their unwavering disbelief in chronic Lyme. I have only seen her a few times but I can finally take a deep sigh in knowing that my search for a caring, proactive and engaging medical professional is over. Absolutely everything I had hoped to find for my little girl. The staff was amazing and she felt at home, rare for her. The doctor was so empathetic and understanding. Joanna is amazing. She spent an hour with me my first visit as psych doctor and got all my background information. Above all that, the warmth and comfort you feel. You’re safe to open up to her. You can tell her anything. She’s not gonna judge at all. She only helps you in whatever form possible. She goes above and beyond for her patients & it shows. She really does care. After purging some of my trauma during first visit. She was able to refer me to a therapist who specializes in certain trauma that I experienced. Anyway you will feel right at home with her. She does psych care & also Primary Care !!!!! Hello everyone , everyone who’s looking for primary care doctor. Look no further. Blood work was done right away. ( I’m healthy yay ) . Now to work on the mental health aspects of life. So now I have a primary care doctor and that’s taken care of. Along with a psych med that I take. So I couldn’t be happier. She can prescribe medicine if she sees fit , just in case you’re wondering. She listens to your concerns and goes from there. All in all. Just super convenient. Super friendly. Super caring. What else could you ask for? If you don’t have a psych doctor or a primary doctor Joanna is the one to go to. Perfect location for anyone in lewes or Rehoboth or any surrounding areas. You’ll be happy you switched doctors or maybe just moved here and need to find a new doctor. You’ll be happy either way. You’re treated as a human being with feelings that are valid. From the beginning. You’re not treated as just another patient or a number or an addict which for me personally means a lot. The stigma with addiction in the medical field is a whole different story & irrelevant here. Joanna treats you like a human being no matter who you are or where you come from or what your past was. I can’t say the same about most other places / doctors I’ve been too at all. With Joanna I can say this happily. She takes the time to get to know you and in turn you feel cared for. I relocated to Sussex County, from Maryland recently. I was ecstatic with the level of care and concern for my wellbeing that I experienced during my recent first visit. The office is run extremely efficiently, the support staff was incredible, and Joanna is an amazing medical professional, but also has a warm caring nature, and provided a thorough, thoughtful approach with me as a patient. Terrific experience and I am thankful to have her to help me.

Had a psychological clearance for weight loss surgery. The staff were great and the appointment was laid back and made me feel extremely comfortable. Will be back for a 6 month follow up post surgery and am looking forward to it.

Just recently found out my PCP is no longer accepting Medicare so I began my search for someone new, which is not an endearing experience at my age. Why can’t things stay the same!? Well, I was quite pleased to meet Joanna and her team. I felt right at home. Joanna was very thorough during my first appointment. She explained how she works with her patients. I had a great first time visit/appointment. I look forward to having a long doctor/patient relationship with Joanna, while she manages my health and wellness.

You walk in an see Michelle at the front desk to say I'm here! As usual she is smiling and very nice then I saw the new nurse Kim( if I got the wrong name sorry) she asks you general questions like what meds you take etc. also very nice and pleasant then you Dr.Joanne she is also smiling she asks how your doing she actually listens to you and looks at you when your talking she takes her time and let's you talk I can talk forever as she makes you feel comfortable it's almost like it's not a Dr'soffice I usually get nervous going to the Doctors but not there it's my 2nd visit there I actually enjoying going there how many people can say that ? And they all like what they do and are always happy! If you don't like going to the Doctor you'll love this group try them out!!
