I just moved from Northern Virginia to Lewes Delaware last month and had heard stories from lots of people how hard it is to find a doctor accepting new patients here. Well yesterday was my lucky day!! My neighbor referred me to Joanna Robertson!! She is so wonderful, and helped get my much needed prescription filled, and answered all my questions. Relieved to know we will be in such good hands with her practice!♥️

I feel incredibly lucky to have found Joanna Robertson to be my PCP. She is intelligent and professional, yet always caring and sincere. This is a combination of traits I have not often found in medical professionals and I value it greatly.

I have been searching for a PCP for 4 yrs after moving here. I have chronic Lyme disease and couldn't find a single n provider who understood my disease or believed such a disease even existed. ( unbelievable). I needed knee surgery but the surgeon wouldn't operate until I was medically cleared by a pcp. Thankfully, a receptionist at that office told me about Joanna. I was able to get an appointment easily. She and her staff are among the most caring people i have met in the medical profession. Joanna even gave me an appt. on her day off when I was in a personal crisis situation that was affecting my health. Who else would do that?? Joanna, and her staff, Michelle and Pat are attentive and good listeners. I'm particularly impressed at two things. First, the proactive follow up. Second, Joanna's genuine caring disposition while going through my annual tests result. Very comforting.

My 1st visit with Joanna went very smoothly. I was a little anxious coming in and Joanna put me right at ease. She listened to my concerns and was very helpful. I was not rushed and felt that we were working together on my health plan.

I had my first appointment with Joanna and had a very positive experience. Michele (front desk), Pat (nurse) and Joanna made me feel comfortable. The visit was thorough and not rushed, and I left feeling confident in the care I’ll receive moving forward.

Joanna is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She knows her stuff, whether it’s about parts of your body, blood test results, nutrition, etc, etc, etc. and that’s not even her strongest points—Joanna CARES, and it’s obvious when she sees you. You feel like you’re her only patient!!

I have never felt so comfortable with a doctor than Joanna. She listened to everything and I mean listen to a lot. She asked questions I asked questions this was the most productive appointment I have had in a long time. I switched everyone over to this office. Great Joanna great person

Had my first appointment for my annual physical with Joanna Robertson today and I am very happy to have found her! I decided to leave my current provider due to it feeling too much like a big business and difficulty getting appointments in a timely manner. With Joanna’s office, everything was stellar! Office staff are friendly and the office is clean and modern. This visit felt very old school in the sense that I felt seen and heard and not rushed. Haven’t experienced or felt this way about a provider in many years and I would highly recommend this practice.

Joanna is the most caring and supportive PCP I have ever had. I have Neurological Lyme Disease and she is the only practitioner in 12 yrs that has truly LISTENED to my crazy medical case history and actually expressed the positive attributes she noticed in me. Most have belittled me due to their unwavering disbelief in chronic Lyme. I have only seen her a few times but I can finally take a deep sigh in knowing that my search for a caring, proactive and engaging medical professional is over. I relocated to Sussex County, from Maryland recently. I was ecstatic with the level of care and concern for my wellbeing that I experienced during my recent first visit. The office is run extremely efficiently, the support staff was incredible, and Joanna is an amazing medical professional, but also has a warm caring nature, and provided a thorough, thoughtful approach with me as a patient. Terrific experience and I am thankful to have her to help me.

Had a psychological clearance for weight loss surgery. The staff were great and the appointment was laid back and made me feel extremely comfortable. Will be back for a 6 month follow up post surgery and am looking forward to it.

Just recently found out my PCP is no longer accepting Medicare so I began my search for someone new, which is not an endearing experience at my age. Why can’t things stay the same!? Well, I was quite pleased to meet Joanna and her team. I felt right at home. Joanna was very thorough during my first appointment. She explained how she works with her patients. You walk in an see Michelle at the front desk to say I'm here! As usual she is smiling and very nice then I saw the new nurse Kim( if I got the wrong name sorry) she asks you general questions like what meds you take etc. also very nice and pleasant then you Dr.Joanne she is also smiling she asks how your doing she actually listens to you and looks at you when your talking she takes her time and let's you talk I can talk forever as she makes you feel comfortable it's almost like it's not a Dr'soffice I usually get nervous going to the Doctors but not there it's my 2nd visit there I actually enjoying going there how many people can say that ? And they all like what they do and are always happy! If you don't like going to the Doctor you'll love this group try them out!!

With depression still not resolved, Joanna prescribed an additional medication. The improvement has been remarkable!

The NP was very kind and sensitive to my complex medical history as a new patient. I was able to schedule a follow up appt just a few days later to continue understanding my current needs. She is the first physician who actually wanted to read and review the 11 yr medical history I had created. I've seen over 22 different medical professionals over the past 11 years and she is one of only a select few who believed me. So often I have been belittled by various Specialists who just didn't believe there is such a thing as Chronic Lyme Disease. I highly recommend Joanna Robertson N.P. if you are in need of a PCP who actually listens and cares about her patients.
